Before time flies by too much I had wanted to throw in a little blurb about our unplanned 24hours in Seoul Korea on the way here to Cambodia.
Hot Drink Party gets its start!
At the time we were really disappointed that our first flight was delayed causing the layover, BUT we made the most of it and had a great time. I think I lost 10 lbs in that day alone because there was NOTHING I could find to eat beyond tea and a banana. Trying to translate NO GLUTEN into Korean is a tricky deal. Though I must say it was very handy to use the Korean I did know, thanks to my friend Ria…..from Korea! (aka Diarreah from Korea, she loves that nickname!!) So I was able to say hello, thank you, have you eaten yet. And my favorite “Give me all your money“. We walked around the downtown area a little bit. The little bit that we could actually stand considering only had our plane gear and it was minus 10’c. You would think I could take it being Canadian, but I was FREEZING. I was freezing and I was bowing to everyone. I have no idea why but it just happened!! Anyways some of the photos in the following gallery are funny or just interesting so have a peek. Korea is a fun fun party-on-down kind of town! I could have given you the name of a Korean pioneer brother we got to know in Thailand, he might have been able to find you some Gluten Free food, but he is back there to find a wife, so…

Haha Amber! Yes, no Marc’s in my life…..Daniel hasn’t kicked the bucket yet!!😜 And it doesn’t look like its just a “party for one”, the cardboard cutout guy in the background is getting his party on too! (Also love the window cleaning guy – if you zoom in he looks incredibly fascinated by whatever he’s discovered on the window!! 😝)
